Unknown Path, brewed by Somerset’s Quantock Brewery, has been named a UK country winner at this year’s World Beer Awards.
Crowned best in the UK in the IPA milkshake/NEIPA category, Unknown Path will now represent the UK in the award finals in September. It will be judged against entries from breweries around the globe.
Cheryl Ford, managing director and co-founder of Quantock Brewery, said: “There are some phenomenal brewers in the UK, so to be selected to be the best in category is amazing.
“We’re always looking to push ourselves to create craft beer that appeals to all tastes, and as a team to get the recognition from the World Beer Award judges is incredible. We knew instantly from our customers’ feedback that Unknown Path was special.”
To celebrate being crowned UK winner, the Quantock Brewery brew crew have decided to make another limited-edition batch of Unknown Path. This will be available soon from the brewery’s online shop and in the popular Tap Room in Bishop’s Lydeard, Somerset.
Quantock Brewery’s QPA was awarded a bronze in the American style pale ale category.
