Tourism and activities website It’s In Nottingham has created a month-long Ale Trail celebrating local pubs, breweries, and cask ale.
The organisation has put together a number of new trails, which can be explored between 3rd September and 3rd October. There’s collectable memorabilia for those who complete the trails.
To take part, choose one of the trails to follow, buy a half or a pint of cask ale, and collect a sticker from the pub at each stop.
Trail cards and maps can be collected from any participating venues and the Nottingham Tourism Centre from this month onwards. There are six Robin Hood themed trails, but also a Canine Trail, for dog owners and their pooches.
Once you’ve filled up a Trail Card with stamps you can trade it in at the Nottingham Tourism Centre for
a limited-edition pin badge. There are six badges to collect, as well as a special badge for those taking part in the Canine Trail. Anyone who completes all six trails also gets a free commemorative t-shirt.
