St Austell Brewery has partnered with artisan snack producer Mr Filbert’s on a range of peanuts, artfully roasted with Proper Job IPA.
The nuts are now available from St Austell Brewery’s managed pubs, as well as farm shops across the South West. The 40g pouches are dairy-free, vegan friendly, and bursting with flavour.
Proper Job is one of St Austell Brewery’s most popular beers. Brewed with American hops and the finest quality malt, it’s a big, bold, and powerfully hopped IPA that explodes with citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit notes.
Based in Somerset, Mr Filbert’s is famous for producing award-winning snacks that champion new and adventurous flavours.
Georgina Young, brewing director at St Austell Brewery, said: “We’re always looking for exciting new ways to fuse our beers with food. Beer and nuts are a traditional barside match, made in heaven, and these new gourmet snacks are a must for Proper Job fans and beer lovers in general.”
Mark Taylor, managing director of Mr Filbert’s, added: “We’re excited to join St Austell Brewery in launching this new Proper Job beery peanut snack to the trade. Our complementary businesses and brands offer the perfect platform to create exciting new snack lines in the future.”
“We were lucky enough to form this long-term partnership with another top South West company, building upon the strength of St Austell’s strong customer relationships — and leveraging Filbert’s manufacturing capabilities — to broaden our reach into the gourmet, better-for-you snack and on-trade markets.”
