The owners of Good Things Brewing Co have been left devastated after lighting struck and destroyed the brewery.
Wreckage: the brewhouse after the blaze
The brewery was the victim of incredible storms which lashed their way through the South East of England over the weekend.
The brewing kit was based in a beautiful 17th century barn which has been burnt to the ground by the strike.
Brewery founder Chris Drummond said on social media: “Thankfully the team and I are all safe and no-one was hurt.
“The barn is something our family and brew team treasured, with so many fond memories, and we are deeply saddened, but we are very thankful no-one was on site today.”
The fundraising has already begun, though, to resurrect the much-respected brewery. A Go Fund Me page has been launched in response to the many people who have offered support.
