Molsons Coors has put its Burtonwood Brewery, in Warrington, on the market through commercial agent Colliers.

The site has been used for making beers such as Blue Moon and Sharp’s Brewery’s Wolf Rock. The owners of the Thomas Hardy brand are also on part of the site, but will remain as tenants.
The site is well equipped with 33 steel fermenters, a kegging line, three steam boliers, and two yeast tanks, as well as having its own borehole water source.
The site comprises a range of industrial units of steel portal frame construction, alongside a brick-built boiler house, original brewhouse, and offices. The site benefits from spacious service yards and has generous parking provision.
Molson Coors will consider proposals to occupy, develop, or purchase the property outright, with all equipment in situ. It would obviously suit an existing smaller brewer looking to take a step up in production.
