It’s on the terrace by the Rockfish restaurant, which opened on 12th April. The covered deck provides guests with a large outside area to relax and enjoy the buzzing waterside location in Sutton Harbour.
Chairman of Salcombe Brewery Co, John Tiner, said: “As hospitality businesses re-open we are delighted to see the launch of the very first Salcombe Brewery at Rockfish bar in the trendy quayside area in Plymouth.
“Visitors will be able to relax in style, soak up the location, and enjoy a range of Salcombe Brewery beers and cider alongside some fabulous seafood. Not least, it is the perfect post-lockdown venue as it is a covered outdoor bar, with the added benefit of plenty of fresh sea air on tap.”
Mitch Tonks, owner of Rockfish, added: “We have invested and completely revitalised the large outdoor space which overlooks the sea. Is there anywhere better to sit and enjoy some great seafood and a cold beer? We also have some great music and entertainment planned, it will have a laid back festival feeling.
“Sutton Harbour is a wonderful part of the city, with the fish market, the marina, and the National Marine Aquarium alongside the restaurant. You can enjoy great views and plenty of water activity. Arrive by foot, by boat, by yacht, by bicycle, by car. This needs to be on your post-lockdown bucket list for 2021!”
John added: “We have worked with Rockfish for a number of years, initially brewing a golden ale for them and more recently as the sole supplier of beer, lager, and cider across the Rockfish estate. As two dynamic South West coastal businesses we have a great deal in common and our partnership has gone from strength to strength.
“We are now entering an exciting new era in the relationship as we open this new bar within the Rockfish site in Plymouth, and we are confident that there are more great opportunities ahead for us both.”
