There are just five days left to support the Great Western Brewing Co as it looks to fund a new brewery in Brislington, Bristol.
The new venture will see GWB rebranded as Hop Union Brewery, with the initials HUB. “We believe that a taproom should be the HUB of every modern brewery,” say the brewers, in their pitch.
“Along with finishing the bespoke brewhouse, our aim is to create an exclusive taproom with inside and outside drinking areas for the community to enjoy.”
The team found new premises and ordered new brewing equipment, but halfway through project, covid came along and disrupted it.
Great Western Brewing Company has been a family business since 1982. Three generations of the Stone family are still involved, and they have grown the business over the years, starting out at the Rising Sun pub, in the village of Frampton Cotterell.
