Alastair Darby has stepped down as chief executive of SA Brain, having completed the deal that sees Marston’s take over its pubs.

Darby joined Brains in 2018, having held senior management positions at Marston’s, Camerons, and Mitchells & Butlers.
He told industry magazine Propel that his work with the Cardiff brewer was done having safeguarded the future of the pubs and 1,300 jobs.
