A third edition of Tim Webb and Stephen Beaumont’s World Atlas of Beer is being published by Octopus this October.

World Atlas of Beer

The book is dubbed “the busy professional’s guide to what was really happening in the brewing industry across the world pre-covid”.

By January this year, there were well over 25,000 breweries operating on the planet with major growth hotspots in places as diverse as Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, and Eastern Europe. This is reflected in the ever-increasing scope of the book, which now covers progress in more than 125 countries.

The book tells the tale, too, of how smaller breweries have grown and how some have been invested in or even taken over by the global giants.

The third edition of The World Atlas of Beer is published by Octopus Books on 1st October, priced at £30 in hardback.
