Exale Brewing, which has a unique style based around foraging in local Epping Forest, is re-opening its Walthamstow taproom this weekend. There will be table bookings, table service, and social distancing.

Joining the team, who are regular collaborators with coffee roasters and chefs, will be the gang from Yucatan Tacos, serving up authentic Mexican food. And the team at Victory London Distillery, who distill on site using their unique, modern processes, to produce botanical spirits, have come up with a bespoke drinks menu, with cocktails on tap.

Exale beers will, of course, be on tap, with favourites such as Iron Brew Sour, its sessionable House Pale, Chuckleberry Saison (aptly named Tumee Tuyu), and many more, alongside guest beers.

The taproom is carved out of an old furniture warehouse, so it’s already a well ventilated space. Exale has also extended its outdoor capacity, built shelter, and a mezzanine to ensure extra outdoor space. It has had help from safety experts Food Alert to ensure it has all the correct safety measures in place. Exale hopse to be able to still channel its laid-back vibes, but in a more conscious, considered manner.

Bookings are now open at the Exale website.
