Purity Brewing Co has announced two initiatives to keep the pub atmosphere alive as the lockdown continues, as well as a special beer pub quiz.

It has relaunched a full contactless and safe click and collect service from the brewery, including the Pure Pub experience mixed case that includes a range of Purity beers as well as selection of Pipers Crisps.

Online customers can book a ten-minute slot to collect their order, and after giving their order number one of the Purity team will place the order in a customer’s car, while adhering to social distancing measures.

Purity has also introduced a weekly online quiz. Live from the Brewery taproom, two of the Purity team are streaming to an average of over 600 players each week. There are four rounds of ten questions each.

The brewery has been lucky enough to be able to call on local sporting and event partners, including Wasps Rugby, Aston Villa, Coventry Rugby, and 2000 Trees, who have given access to special guests Tom Cruse, Josh Basset, Max Trimble, Ian Taylor, Tony Daley, and Thrill Collins, as well as former legend of West Midlands football and current pundit Dion Dublin.

The brewery is encouraging those taking part in the quiz to donate what they would spend on a pint at their normal quiz to the brewery’s official charity partner, Cure Leukemia, via its Just Giving page.

As a one-off special, the brewery has joined forces with Beer Day Britain, on 15th June, and well know beer writers Adrian Tierney-Jones, Emma Inch, and Jonny Garret to bring audiences a Beer Special Pure Pub Quiz. To celebrate Britain’s national alcoholic drink, Purity Pure Pub Quiz hosts, Alex and Alex, will kick off the quiz live on Purity’s Facebook page at 7pm, with a #CheersToBeer, and hopefully join many others across the country celebrating Britain’s national drink.
