Sadler’s master brewer, Sam Pegg, tastes the new beer
Sadler’s Brewing Co is celebrating the roll-out of its new white Beer, 1861, to Wetherspoon pubs across the country.
Light caramel in colour, Sadler’s 1861 has a smooth mouthfeel from the high wheat content. Its subtle earthy notes from classic British hop varieties create characteristics which are rare in a wheat beer. Its full bodied flavour profile offers definite banana and clove, with undertones of peach and apricot.
Sadler’s managing director, Chris Sadler, said: “Our team has worked so hard over the past few months to make this relationship with Wetherspoon a reality. This is a huge win for us as a local brewery, to get such a nationwide coverage of one of our craft beers.”
