The Leaping Wolf pub, on the doorstep of The Molineux football stadium in Wolverhampton, has relaunched after a £450,000 investment by owner Punch.
The community pub has had a full refurbishment inside and out, and is being operated by Bobby Basran, who also runs another business in the area.
Punch chief executive, Clive Chesser, said: “We are extremely proud of the work that has gone into transforming the Leaping Wolf. Bobby and the team have great plans to deliver a fantastic customer experience all year round, and we look forward to working with him to ensure this fantastic pub becomes a hub for the local community and visitors alike.”
Basran said: “I’ve been waiting for this pub to become available for some time now. The opportunity to bring the pub back to the community was one not to be missed. I’ve had great support from Punch, who have really done the pub proud with the refurbishment.
“We have lots of plans to make sure that this pub becomes a central hub, not just for sports fans, but for everyone in the community.”
