Winning its first award — bronze in the category for bottled / canned Session IPA (up to 4.3%) was 4.3% ABV Norada, which the brewer calls “a golden, tropical-scented, hop-filled beer, bursting with character”.

‘Growing list of accolades’

James Armitage, Woodforde’s commercial and marketing director, said: “We’re delighted to add two more awards to our growing list of accolades, and it’s always pleasing to have our brews acknowledged as among the very best by people who really know their beers.

“We take great pride in what we do, meticulously selecting all our ingredients for their quality and origin, using only the richest of hops for our creations, which successfully marry the traditional with the innovative.”

Judi-mae Alderton, head of marketing for Woodforde’s, added: “We had a brilliant time at the awards. The SIBA Beer Awards represent the greatest beers from the UK’s strongest independent brewers, so we are always pleased to be considered amongst the best in the UK. We are especially pleased with Norada’s first award!

“It’s a great industry to be a part of and we look forward to supporting SIBA in the future by helping to judge at other regional awards.”
