BrewDog is launching its latest UK bar — its 37th in this country and 70th worldwide — on Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes.

To celebrate the opening, the Scottish brewer will enter the first 100 beer-loving locals through the bar’s doors into a raffle, on its public opening at noon tomorrow (Friday).

These fans will have the chance to win a bundle of beer-themed prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the state-of-the-art brewery in Ellon, a year’s supply of beer, the opportunity to attend a BrewDog beer school, and a variety of beer bucks to be redeemed in the bar.

The Milton Keynes site will feature 20 draft lines and a wide range of bottled beers from around the world, to be enjoyed in the bar or to take away.

There will be the classic BrewDog menu of burgers and wings. A ping pong table will stand on the mezzanine of the bar.

BrewDof co-founder, James Watt, said: “The craft beer community in Milton Keynes have been lobbying for a BrewDog bar for years. We’re proud to have finally answered their wishes by opening the doors to our craft beer haven.

“We hope this bar brings in a new generation of fans, seeking flavourful beer made by passionate brewers, and helps accelerate the city’s craft beer scene. Together with the local craft brewers already making waves in the city, we want to put Milton Keynes on the map as the next outpost for awesome craft beer.”
