Beerwulf

The craft and speciality beer platform Beerwulf.com has officially opened its doors in Britain after a launch in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The site enables beer lovers to order beers from small, local breweries and gives brewers an opportunity to raise their profile. Each brewer gets a page to present themselves to Beerwulf’s customers. In addition, the online platform’s high level of flexibility means that new beers and one-off brews can quickly be offered to the public, with minimum effort.

Managing director, Hans Böhm, said: “We have just come off the back of a successful launch in the Netherlands and Belgium. We worked hard to create a platform that is tailor-made for beer lovers. Our user-friendly website has helpful tools to make it easier to choose from our wide selection.

“There are informative blog posts, detailed flavour descriptions, suggestions based on current preferences, and a wealth of information about the brewers. The assortment has been carefully put together.

“But if you can’t find your favourite beer on our website, Beerwulf will do its best to add it to the range.”

He added: “Beerwulf uses the brewers’ recommended retail prices as a guideline. The biggest advantage of
Beerwulf is our diverse assortment. You can sample a wide selection of beers, without having to go all around the country to find them. The beers are also packaged in extra protective boxes to prevent bottle breakage.”

Each beer has its Untappd rating clearly displayed, assisting users to choose. Though all the cans and bottles can be ordered individually, Beerwulf has also put together a range of packs that have hand-picked selections, which have proved to be very popular. The packs are compiled according to themes, such as the current season and beer styles.

• If you place an order before 4pm, the beers will be delivered within 48 hours. Delivery costs are normally £4.95 but, as an introductory offer, Beerwulf is giving free delivery to customers that order 12 beers or more.
