Sharp’s Brewery is celebrating a new partnership with internationally renowned theatre company WildWorks, as they return to Cornwall for the first time in ten years.
The eagerly anticipated Wolf’s Child production, which will run at Trelowarren Estate, near Helston, from July 11-30, takes the audience on a magical adventure around the property’s historic grounds.
Sharp’s beers will be available to all theatre goers at the Wolf Bar in the courtyard at Trelowarren. The selection will include the aptly named Wolf Rock red IPA, as well as Doom Bar, Sea Fury and Atlantic.
James Nicholls, senior brand manager at Sharp’s Brewery, said: “We’re all proud to be supporting WildWorks who, like us, have achieved great success, starting from their home in Cornwall and stretching out far beyond that. We are looking forward to what promises to be an outstanding series of shows and wish the whole team every success.”
Wolf’s Child tells the tale of Mother, who protects her girls from the dangers of the wild. When a wolf attack leaves her injured, she sends her most trusted girl into the woods in her place. Here the girl discovers darkness, love, terror and freedom.
Emma Hogg, general manager at WildWorks, said: “We are thrilled to have the support of Sharp’s Brewery for our homecoming production. This sponsorship is essential in enabling us to produce Wolf’s Child, and the whole crew is very much looking forward to having a Wolf Rock after our first performance in our home in over a decade.”
• The show is suitable for adults and children over 11. Tickets can be purchased from the Hall for Cornwall website, where a short film trailer of the production can be viewed, or call 01872 262466 to book.
