The Liquor Board for Quebec, in Canada (the Société des Alcools du Québec) will be stocking five beers from Suffolk-based St Peter’s Brewery (pictured) this summer.
The new export deal will include Suffolk Gold, India Pale Ale and Ruby Red Ale as seasonal offers, while Cream Stout and G-Free (St Peter’s gluten-free beer) will be permanent listings.
St Peter’s export sales are exceeding expectations, with new contracts being confirmed all the time.
Chief executive, Steve Magnall, said: “Our export sales make up 50% of our overall sales and we are always looking for new overseas opportunities.
“Securing these contracts takes time and patience, but we have a dedicated team at St Peter’s that builds up strong relationships overseas to ensure our export sales continue to grow. We are now very excited to see what the Canadian market thinks of our hand-crafted range of beers.”
