Derby Brewing Crafted

Derby Brewing Co has raised more than 50% of the target amount of its latest crowdfunding campaign, with 14 days still remaining.

Director Paul Harris said: “To have reached over 50% of our £500,000 target at this stage of the campaign is great. The support from both our local customers and DBC fans, as well new investors, has been overwhelming.

“We couldn’t have got this far without such support. Following feedback, during the campaign we’ve not only increased our level of equity on offer, but we have also added a new £500 investment reward level which includes a tutored beer tasting amongst its rewards.

“It’s certainly an exciting time for us and the business. As we get closer to our target, we’re also getting closer to realising our plans for development, including launching our new range of craft beers, developing the existing venues and growing new ones, expanding capacity in our brewery as well as sharing the great beers with the world.

“Next week we are holding two crowdfunding showcase events to give investors and potential investors the chance to meet the people behind the team at Derby Brewing Co and hear from us directly about our plans.

“For us, it’s a great opportunity to explain our future plans in person as well as giving investors the chance to ask any questions they might have. As a thank you to those coming, there’ll also be samples of new Crafted range of beer to try.”

The first event will be held on Wednesday, May 10, at Merchant House of Fleet Street, Bride Court, London, from 5pm. The second will be on Thursday, May 11 at the brewery’s own award-winning venue, The Tap, Derwent Street, Derby, from 5pm.
