BrewDog has expanded its presence in London with the opening of its seventh bar in the city, in the Seven Dials district of Covent Garden.
The bar will be the Scottish brewer’s second opening of 2018, bringing its total number of bars to 34 in the UK and 51 worldwide.
Spanning three floors, BrewDog Seven Dials will feature a basement hang out as well as two bars located across the three floors and 20 different beers on tap. The food selection will be a classic BrewDog menu of burgers and wings and serving up brunch on the weekends.
BrewDog literally ‘rolled’ into London in a military tank in 2011 to mark the opening of its Camden bar. Since then, it has added locations in Shoreditch, Shepherd’s Bush, Clapham Junction, Soho and Clerkenwell. Earlier this year, the brewery announced it will be opening an 8,500 sq ft bar and microbrewery in Tower Hill in April.
BrewDog co-founder James Watt said: “London is fast becoming renowned as a cultural hub for craft beer, both in the UK and around the world. In the last decade it has become one of the world’s leading outposts for amazing beer, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
“Londoners have an insatiable thirst for bold, flavoursome, unorthodox and uncompromising craft beers, and with this new bar, we have created a landmark location in which to experience the incredible world of brilliant craft beer.
“Our mission is to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are, and with this latest venue in the bustling West End, we’re going to be able to welcome thousands of craft beer converts through the doors, across three floors.”
