Yates Brewery (Isle of Wight)
Former brewer of Burts beers in Ventnor, David Yates, was determined to get back into brewing and set up his own business in 2000. Brewing takes place on a five-barrel plant. Some 30 outlets are supplied and some beers are bottled.

Yeovil Ales
Founded as a family brewery in October 2005 by Rob and Dave Sherwood. There have been many awards, and brewing capacity was doubled in 2010.

Brewing returned to York for the first time in more than 40 years when this firm was set up in 1996. Head brewer Nick Websetr oversees a 20-barrel plant, the brewery having an excellent viewing platform for visitors. The Brewery Tap Room is a popular venue to sample the products.

Yorkshire Dales Brewing Co
Established in 2005, this five-barrel brewery produces all styles of beer, from traditional bitters to foreign styles, such as Dunkels and Bocks. Regularly monthly specials complement the regular beer lists. Some beers are available bottle conditioned.
