Bock (6.5% ABV, can)
Rich amber with an off-white head that stays well, there’s bready malt and toffee on the nose. On the palate, it’s more hoppy than the Marzen (see below) but still malt led. There’s bready malt, caramel, gentle hop notes, and some red apple skin. Tasty, and really too easy drinking.

Hefeweizen (5.5% ABV, can)
Hazy, very light gold, with a white head. The classic hefeweizen aroma of banana and cloves is there, and the style is nailed on the palate. It’s beautifully clean and slightly sweet with that banana flavour, a good spicy edge, a hint of bubblegum. Very refreshing.

Marzen (5.9% ABV, can)
A beautiful mahogany colour with an off-white head that stays well. There’s a lovely roasty inviting aroma, with a hint of plummy fruit. The taste is just delightful. Right up my strasse. Rich, robust, bready, verging on toasty malt flavours, nutty, with sweet caramel notes and just a hint of fruit from a light hopping. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Schwarzbier (5% ABV, can)
Pours black with a foaming off-white head, with an aroma of cacao. Chocolate and coffee comes through on the palate with some slightly smoky malt notes. There’s decent bitterness on the finish. Very enjoyable!
