Dark (4.7% ABV, bottle)
Spicy hops and a hint of chocolate on the nose. Tasting, there’s some dark malt sweetness, toffee, earthy hop notes, and blackcurrant jam. And yet, the beer still has a freshness and pizzazz about it. Easy drinking, it has a good body. I’m sensing this would be a good companion of sausages!

Pils (4.8% ABV, bottle)
A beautiful, fresh, joyous Pils. The aroma is floral and spicy, with a hint of berries and some caramelly malt. On the palate, fresh lemon and orange pith burst through, balanced by grainy malt.

Weizen (5.3% ABV, bottle)
Deep hazy golden with a thick, white, foaming head, this is very lively from the bottle. The classic wheat beer aroma of clove and banana is there, as well as, in this case, some vanilla and a grassy note. So crisp and refreshing — the banana and clove really comes through on the palate and there’s an orange peel note, too, with some bubble gum creeping in on the finish. A great German wheat beer, a classic example.
