Chorus (4% ABV, can)
Bright golden, this has a small white head which, nevertheless, actually linger well. I get some spiciness on the aroma. It’s a beautifully balanced session pale, with some fruity, but also earthy and a hint spicy hops, against a light biscuit malt background. A nice bit of bitterness on the finish, and a good body for 4%. A very decent session brew.

Forte (7.2% ABV)
This West Coast IPA pulls no punches and is an absolutely superb example of the style. Malty and piney, it takes inspiration from the work of US brewers like Dogfish Head, being bot as NEIPA-y as some.

Jazz (5.2% ABV, can)
Hazy gold with a white head that stays very well, there’s a tropical, slightly dank aroma from this kveik IPA, a collaboration with Jasper Yeast and Brewser. Quite juicy and fruity, it has a very full body. As with many Colbier brews, there’s a good malt profile, quite biscuity, reinforced with wheat. A cracker of a craft IPA.

Mélodie (5.5% ABV, can)
Hazy golden with a thick white head, this has a nice, floral, grassy aroma. On the palate, it;s earthy and fruity, and a bit tart. The finish dries out nicely. A lovely continental-style brew from Liverpool!
