Winter Welcome Ale (6% ABV, bottle)
Pours a crystal clear, rich amber, with a slightly off-white head. The aroma is cakey malt, slightly spicy. This is proper winter warmer territory. Wonderfully old-fasioned with a spicy, malty framework, notes of orange and juicy sultanas. The bottle notes refer to a “luxurious malt character”, and they’re not wrong.
