Glafy Irish Dry Stout (4.1% ABV, cask)
Bit of a low ABV for a stout, you may say, but it’s the same as Guinness. This was on the bar for a day or two in the pub and improved as time went on, until it was considered very fine indeed. Slightly smokey — peaty even — there are notes of molasses and rich dark fruit, with a very satisfying dry finish. Enormously popular, and rightly so.
