Haacht

Flandrien (6.4% ABV, bottle)
Deep polished gold, with a big, tight white head, this has a lovely spicy, herbal nose. That’s coriander and banana coming through. There’s a big hit of vanilla on the palate, which works nicely with the coriander. Gives a really fresh, vibrant buzz. Heavy carbonation keeps pushing that delightful flavour around. Another hit from Haacht.

Haacht Flandrien

Super 8 IPA (6% ABV, bottle)
Rich amber with a thick off-white head, this looks very inviting. The aroma is orange, resinous, and spicy. On the palate, rich bready malt, spicy hops, and lovely orange and grapefruit notes. Good bitterness and quite a dry finish. A lovely beer!

Haacht Super 8

Tongerlo (6.5% ABV, bottle)
A lovely rich looking, deep red/brown beer with a billowing tan head. There’s red berry fruit on the aroma, along with some vanilla and a suggestion of coffee. On the palate, it’s majestic. Smooth, full-bodied, luscious. There’s a base of toasty malt and caramel sweetness. Chocolate comes through, and vanilla, while that edge of berry fruit stops the sweetness running away. Fabulus beer.
