East Bristol Session Porter (4.1% ABV, bottle)
Easy drinking and very enjoyable, this ours a very dark ruby red with a tight tan head. Rich roast malt on the aroma, slightly nutty. There’s a smooth sweetness detectable. On the palate it’s beautifully smooth, with lactose type notes, mellow roast malts, milk chocolate, nuts, and a hint of red berry fruit.

Easton IPA (4.4% ABV, bottle)
Hazy light gold with a fluffy white head, this is a good session IPA, beautifully packaged. There are resinous hops and grapefruit on the aroma. The palate is clean and fresh, with pine, lemon, and a touch of grapefruit. Good body for its ABV, and a decent bitter finish.

Resolution (5% ABV, bottle)
Hazy gold, with a white head that stays well, this has been hopped with Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade, so you’d expect fruity and piney notes on the aroma. And there they are! On the palate, it’s really piney, right through to a pleasingly bitter finish, while grapefruit, orange, and lychees seem to dominate the fruit side. Lovely refreshing drop, this. There must have been a shedload of hops involved — possibly dry hopped?
