Citra Boom (4% ABV, can)
Hazy straw/gold with a white head that stays well, there’s lemon and grapefruit on the aroma. Lemon builds on the palate, with notes like those in a lemn meringue pie. Good body, lovely and smooth, with cracking bitterness on the finish.

Cornish IPA (5.5% ABV, can)
Hazy gold/amber with a white head, this has a pleasant citrus, resinous, grainy malt aroma. On the palate, orange citrus bursts through, with supporting notes of kiwi, apricot, and passionfruit. Decent, although I’d like a bit more body and malt character.

Gone Surfing (4% ABV, can)
Hazy straw, this brew is well carbonated with a thick white head. Quite herbal on the nose, with some grapefruit,. On the palate, kiwi, lychee, and herbal notes come through. There’s some hop dankness on the finish. Pretty decent, and ideal to take to a Cornish beach.
Buy it: I got mine from Johns off-licence in St Ives.
