High Hopes (5% ABV, can)
A slightly hazy straw/gold colour, this beer is in lovely condition with a white head that stays well. The aroma is very apparent the moment the can hisses open. Piney hops, lemon, fresh and clean. The taste is utterly delightful: clean, refreshing, vibrant lemon, grapefruit, balanced with light sweetness from a biscuity malt. The mouthfeel is smooth, the beer very drinkable, very moreish. A word for the can design, too — great standout on the shelf.
