Baltic Smoked Porter (7.6% ABV, can)
Very, very dark red, with a creamy head that lingers fairly well. Subtle smoke on the aroma, with a hint of dark chocolate and black cherry. That smoke remains nicely in check on the palate, with good dark fruit flavour from the hops. A delightful strong porter.

Big Beernana (6.5% ABV, can)
Hazy yellow, with a big head, there’s a definite whiff of banana. And yet there’s no banana in it. On the palate, it’s like a New England IPA/wheat beer hybrid, hence that banana note, which does carry through to the taste. There’s a full, soft body which aids the drinkability immensely. A fruity, slightly spicy treat.

Hazy in Love (6% ABV, can)
A hazy sandy colour with a foaming white head, this has the classic fruity NEIPA aroma, grapefruit and orange. Very inviting! On the palate, it’s smooth, fruity, and juicy. Citrus fruit, papaya, and mango, with good malt balance and a terrific mouthfeel. There’s a nice resinous hop note, too. Very drinkable indeed!

Hoppy Fairy (5% ABV, can)
A slightly hazy bright golden with a vigorous white head, there are good fruity notes on the aroma, grapefruit and mango notably. On the palate, there’s a terrific dryness – very refreshing. The fruit flavours turn more melony, with hints of sherbet and some hop dankness. A good summer refresher.

Show Me The Honey (5.8% ABV)
Golden, with a billowing white head. Not a huge aroma, but there are hints of spciy hop. There’s an edge of honey to this IPA, achieved entirely through malt. There’s a big hop depth, thanks to a late addition of Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Fuggles, and Simcoe. The combination delivers a deep citrus flavour, notes of lemon pith and mandarin. The ‘honey’ offers lovely sweet balance. An unusual, but good flavour.
