Toast Ale

Baker’s Witbier (5% ABV, can)
A slightly hazy straw colour with a thick white head, this has a nice spicy, herabl nose, true to the witbier style. Quite a light wheat beer, it has subtle orange fruit notes and coriander spicing. A perfect summer refresher.
Buy it: I was sent mine by Toast Ale. It’s available in the brewery shop.

Lemongrass Lager (0.5% ABV, can)
Crystal clear straw coloured, with a white head which dissipate quickly, citrus and tea notes come through on the nose (teapigs’ lemongrass tea is an ingredient). It’s not got a big flavour, but there’s decent balanced refreshment, with that lemongrass providing a good zing. Could see this being popular as a summer thirst quencher.

Toast Lemongrass Lager

Mango IPA (Rise Up series) (4.5% ABV, can)
Hazy yellow orange, with a white head that stays well, there’s a big hit of mango aroma as soon as the can pops open. A really fresh and fruity nose. On the palate, more of that mango, with some lemon citrus and papaya notes. Very refeshing, but it seems more of a fruity pale than an IPA to me.

Toast Mango IPA

Oat Pale Ale (Rise Up series) (4% ABV, can)
Hazy yellow with a white head, this offers a not-too-strong peachy aroma. It drinks nicely, with stone fruit to the fore and some mango coming through. There’s a good body, with light malt adding balance. Nice: light, fruity, and clean.
