Splann (6.3% ABV, bottle)
Love an ESB and this one is beautifully presented in Dynamite Valley’s trademark paper packaging. On the nose, there’s malt, bready malt. It looks very attractive, bright amber, with good carbonation and a thick, slightly off-white head that stays well. More hop character than I was expecting on the palate, quite herbal, spicy. Good caramel notes, and some blood orange notes. Good ESB, nicely done.
