Scottish brewer WooHa is targeting £125,000 of investment on Crowdcube to boost its growth with a new bottling line, and increase sales in the US.

Although its is stocked by UK retailers, such as Asda and Ocado, and pub chains including Wetherspoon and Stonegate, it is making great inroads into export markets.

In its crowdfunding pitch, the company says: “WooHa is all about big ambitions and showing the world that Scotland produces great beer.

“WooHa has always had a focus on the export market, with the US being its main target. The ethos and branding reflect the company’s proudly Scottish identity, with bright, bold packaging. WooHa isn’t just exporting beer — it’s exporting Scotland.”

With the crowdfunding open for another 26 days, WooHa is offering 2.44% equity in total, valuing the company at £5m.
