Woodforde’s will be welcoming the community to the brewery and on-site pub the Fur & Feather Inn for Norfolk Day on Friday (July 27).
Woodforde’s is sponsoring the first ever Norfolk Day, which is set to bring the county together to celebrate everything great about Norfolk: its magnificent coastline, endless skies, beautiful waterways of the Norfolk Broads, and the amazing people, food and drink.
The brewery will be hosting an open day with free brewery tours between 1pm and 4pm, as well as activities for children and adults.
The Fur & Feather will be open throughout the day, with a barbecue provided by the renowned Archer’s Butchers, and children’s entertainers will offer face painting, magic, and balloon animals.
Visitors will be able to sample Woodforde’s finest, with a free ale sampling in the outdoor beer garden, as well as Norfolk tapas dishes of locally-made meats and cheese.
Norfolk Day also has its own beer, the Break Birthday Brew, named in collaboration with the Break charity and to support the day. This will be available on tap, too. A hoppy brew made with four different malts, it is guaranteed to refresh in the summer sun. Visitors can join members of the brewery team from noon.
