Wild Card Brewery is celebrating the return of pub life with the release of two cask beers: Best and Pale.

Wild Card cask

“We’re massive fans here at Wild Card, and as cask beer is a really important part of our story, it’s an understatement to say we are hyped about this,” says the brewer.

“To this end, we’ve been racking cask after cask and can’t wait to share this latest step in our journey with all of our lovely customers.”

Head brewer, Jaega Wise, said: “We’ve brewed two single-mash, unfiltered, cask-conditioned ales, which will be served hand-pulled from the cask.”

The beers

Wild Card Best Bitter (4.2% ABV): We made it with pale, wheat, chewy crystal, and a smidgen of chocolate malt for a beer that is refreshingly bitter, smooth and easy drinking. (brewery notes)

Wild Card Pale Ale (4.3% ABV): Our goal with the Wild Card Pale was to combine the super-fresh element of pale ale with the full-flavoured effect you get from cask conditioning. We made a hoppy, refreshing pale ale with Citra and Cryo-Idaho 7.
