Wadworth’s amber ale, Dirty Rucker, is back for a fourth year as the nation gears up for 2019’s Six Nations rugby tournament. It will be available throughout February and March.
The 3.9% ABV beer is brewed using crystal, pale ale and Munich malts, with added roasted barley, and hopped with Goldings, Challenger, Cascade and Willamette.
Wadworth’s commercial director, Jonathan Thomas, said: “Dirty Rucker is a real winner for us as we’ve seen it grow in popularity year on year. It’s not only a favourite in our own Wadworth pubs, it can be seen on the bar in many pubs up and down the country.”
Food match recommendations are English hot pot, Irish stew, nutty cheese (such as Jarlsberg), roast beef, meat pies, and bread and butter pudding.
