The beer was launched on the concourses and in hospitality lounges for the Championship clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with the home side winning 3-1.
Thornbridge chief executive, Simon Webster, said: “When we were given the opportunity to brew the official Sheffield Wednesday beer, we were delighted.
“Our managing director, Jim Harrison, and I have been season ticket holders for years, so to have one of our own beers inside the ground is a perfect match.”
Wednesday’s head of catering, Rob Cox, added: “We are really pleased to enter into this exciting partnership with Thornbridge Brewery, a renowned market leader on both a national and international scale.
““Establishing this association is a real coup for the club and will further enhance the matchday experience for our supporters, who I am sure will welcome the Wednesday pale ale around the stadium.”
Wednesday Pale Ale (4% ABV) will be available in the ground at all home games and in local pubs. A bottled version will be on sale at the end of September.
