Thornbridge Brewery is kicking off a new partnership with Sheffield Wednesday by launching Wednesday Pale Ale for match days at Hillsborough.

Thornbridge WednesdayThe beer was launched on the concourses and in hospitality lounges for the Championship clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with the home side winning 3-1.

Thornbridge chief executive, Simon Webster, said: “When we were given the opportunity to brew the official Sheffield Wednesday beer, we were delighted.

“Our managing director, Jim Harrison, and I have been season ticket holders for years, so to have one of our own beers inside the ground is a perfect match.”
