Portsmouth-based brewery Staggeringly Good has taken to crowdfunding in a bid to quadruple brewing capacity, get a canning line, and increase its staff.
Rated one of the top 20 breweries in the country on Untappd, it is looking to raise £300,000 — there are 25 days of the campaign remaining.
In its pitch, the company says: “Our dinosaur themed branding has resonated with craft beer fans and newcomers alike, so much so that we’re looking for funding to expand our brewery to 44,000litres, adding our own canning line, and looking to grow our team to include dedicated sales staff and additional brewers.
“Our hugely popular taproom served over 37,000 beers in the last 12 months with dino-riding regulars and many from further afield coming to experience new releases, live entertainment and food pairings direct from the dino-source. As such, we’re now expanding into the adjoining unit, adding extra capacity and an additional ten taps for house and guest beers.
“We’ve also established WarriorFest, our unique dinosaur-/pirate-themed beer festival on a warship, as a highlight in the craft beer calendar, and plan to host this event annually.”
