St Austell Brewery has launched an order and collect service in five of its depots and distribution centres across the South West.

The sites — in St Columb, Heathfield, Ilfracombe, Avonmouth, and Wimborne — will now be used as collection points, enabling people to enjoy their favourite St Austell beers and wines at home.

With a variety of St Austell Brewery and Bath Ales beers to choose from, the new order and collect service also includes a range of St Austell Wines, as well as spirits, mixers, and soft drinks on request.

To order drinks over the phone, customers can call 03452 411 122 from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4.30pm. Once ordered, beers and wines can be collected from the five depots on weekdays between 9am and 2pm.

The brewery’s new service adheres to all government guidelines, and a range of measures have been introduced to keep people safe, including thorough hygiene precautions and strict social distancing practices.

‘Our distribution centres will help take some pressure off supermarkets’

Customers are asked to phone the given number when arriving at the distribution centre carpark, and to stay in their vehicle until their order and receipt is left outside the car by a member of depot staff.

Andrew Turner, managing director of St Austell Brewery’s beers and brands, said: “This new service will enable people in the local area to buy a selection of wines as well as their favourite St Austell beers direct from our depots for the first time.

“While pubs are closed, enabling the general public to buy and collect direct from our distribution centres will provide a useful facility during these difficult times and help take some pressure off supermarkets.”
