St Austell Brewery’s music and beer event, Brewstock, is returning after a hugely successful first year, which saw more than 500 revelers pack out the Visitor Centre.

This year’s event, on July 6, will welcome eight local bands to the brewery, including O’Deus and The Mighty Offbeats.

The bands will play throughout the day, while guests can enjoy a range of St Austell Brewery and Bath Ales beers, and delicious food from the Visitor Centre’s Hicks Bar.

Brewstock was launched last year by the Brewery’s Visitor Centre manager, Will Nash, to give local bands a platform to perform and showcase their talents. The inaugural event was a big hit, and Will is looking forward to another fun, music-fueled, day.

He said: “It’s back, bigger and better! We had a great turnout last year, and there is already a lot of excitement and expectation about this year’s event. We have some great local bands, great local beer, and tickets are selling fast.”

The full line-up of bands performing at Brewstock is: O’Deus, The Mighty Offbeats, Little Clone Humans, Sarah Marie Band, Josh Curnow, 50 Year Storm, Golitha and Parapet.

Doors open at noon. Tickets are priced a, £10, with all proceeds going to the St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust.

Tickets can be purchased at the St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre. Contact the Centre on 01726 66022 or e-mail vcoffice@staustellbrewery.co.uk
