Signature Brew has hit its crowdfunding target on Crowdcube, aiming to raise £400,000 to treble capacity and open taproom venues.

Funding currently stands at £421,690,with 316 investors taking advantage of the offer.

Recently, the company used a £100,000 invoice finance facility from NatWest to create new jobs and expand with the launch of its debut Taproom in East London.

Founded in 2011 by Tom Bott and Sam McGregor, Signature Brew creates award-winning beers that have a distinct nod to the music industry, and has brewed collaboration beers with for musicians such as Frank Tuner and Alt-J.

Starting with just one brewing unit, the business now has three units at its Leyton base and has turnover of £1.3million for 2018. It was named brewery business of the year 2018 by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).
