Dartmoor-based Black Tor Brewery took home gold from SIBA’s South West Independent Beer Awards for its best bitter, Raven.
Brewery director, Jonathon Crump, said: “I am absolutely thrilled and overwhelmed to win such a prestigious award for Raven best bitter, up against such a high level of competition.
“Raven is my favourite of all the beers we brew that I am particularly proud of, and I am excited to see how is does in the SIBA national beer competition.”
Raven is described as a full-bodied, chestnut brown best bitter, brewed with three English hop varieties, and a favourite among Devon real ale drinkers.
