Assistant brand manager, Alan Wolfe, and junior brand manager, Rose Davis, volunteered to take part in the event to raise funds for the brewery’s Charity of the Year, the Silas Pullen Fund in aid of the Brain Tumour Charity.

The pair, who both live in Faversham, completed the challenge in two hours 50 minutes, and have raised a total of £716.

Alan, 24, said: “It was my first time running a half marathon, and getting to do it in Barcelona made it even more memorable. We were lucky to have great weather and received so much support from the crowds watching, which was fantastic.”

Rose, 27, said: “It was definitely tough and we were exhausted afterwards, but Barcelona is such a beautiful, historical city and it was a really special experience.”
