Sharp’s Brewery is returning to the Royal Cornwall Showground from June 6 to 8, bringing back the Ultimate Beach Bar and its cool coastal environment.

Free samples of Offshore will be available from the Offshore surf truck, alongside the bar throughout the show. Behind the bar, visitors can find favourites such as Doom Bar, Offshore and Coaster but also the limited edition Manu Bay.

There will be a wall showcasing Sharp’s major charitable advertising campaign, In Our Elements. This sees the brewery donate approximately £25,000 to leading Cornish environmental charity Surfers Against Sewage through the use of ethical advertising platform, Good-Loop.

The sand at Sharp’s Ultimate Beach Bar is all sourced from the sandbank of the Doom Bar and the Camel Estuary, a nod to Sharp’s passion for adventure and its North Cornish home.

Beach-themed stand

Sharp’s commitment to the Cornish coast will also be evident on-stand with a Blue Flag and Seaside Award Flag flying alongside the beach-themed stand. Among other activities, over the past five years, the brewery has contributed more than £42,000 to help Cornish beach communities achieve their Blue Flag and Seaside Awards status.

Sharp’s has also donated a number of litter pickers to the community interest group, Beach Guardian, and launched a new initiative to reduce single-use plastics in all its sponsored grassroots rugby clubs.

James Nicholls, senior brand manager at Sharp’s Brewery, said: “At Sharp’s we all really look forward to the Royal Cornwall Show. It’s a major calendar event for us, and we thoroughly enjoy bringing the amazing Sharp’s beach bar experience to locals and visitors alike.”
