The Safe and Local Supplier Approval organisation (SALSA) is organising a brewer specification Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) course in the West Country next month.

SALSA HACCPThe course will take place at Hanlon’s Brewery, Newton St Cyres, near Exeter, on October 23. Attendees will be able to complete their own HACCP plans during and after the training, and will receive an Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) accredited qualification.

Bonnie Joplin, of SALSA, said: “SALSA HACCP courses are really high quality, classroom style, with plenty of opportunity to work on your own plans and discuss specifics.

“This particular course has been developed for and is dedicated to microbreweries, and results in an IFST qualification. Its also quite a bit cheaper than usual. We’d love to welcome SALSA members and non-members to join us.”
