Sambrook’s Brewery

Black IPA (6.9% ABV)
Black as night with a firm beige head, this has resinous hops and the faintest suggestion of malt on the aroma. The palate offers a surprisingly fresh hop note, crisp and slightly spicy, with a hint of peach. The body is good on this beer, one of the best black IPAs I’ve come across, the relatively high ABV being masked well. (30-06-2016)
