Great Eastern IPA (7.4% ABV, bottle)
Hazy straw, good carbonation, very small bubbles, and a tight, thick, white head. Soft, cream soda, light lemon citrus aroma. Very inviting. Ridiculously easy drinking for 7.4%. Lemon pith, sherbet lemon, pineapple, nice yeastiness about it. Light biscuit malt for balance. (01-10-2017)
Old Ford Export Stout (7.5% ABV, bottle)
Pretty much absolutely black with a very thick, foaming beige head. The aroma is continental milk chocolate and almond, with a hint of leather and twigs on a forest floor. Big roast malt notes on the palate, smokey, leathery. On the palate, the chocolate gets more bitter. There are notes of black cherry and vanilla.
