Celtic RedEarl Grey IPAMandarina Cornovia

Celtic Red (5%, cask)
Atlantic Celtic RedA deep amber, Irish red style beer, somewhere between an 80 shilling and a ESB, according to Atlantic owner Stuart Thomson. The beers in fantastic condition with flavours of caramel, dates, plums, dried fruit and smooth continental milk chocolate, but no flavour is too heavy, allowing some gentle bitterness to build to a lovely satisfying finish. With a smooth mouthfeel and a lovely body, I really enjoyed this. (01-04-2017)

Earl Grey IPA (4.5%, cask)
Atlantic was one of the early adopters of Earl Grey tea as a beer ingredient and this beer showcases the style well. Golden with a white head, it’s pretty clear for an unfined beer. The tea comes through well on the aroma, but seems more subtle on the palate. (28-01-2016)

Mandarina Cornovia (4.5% ABV, cask)
Very thirst quenching — I enjoyed this a lot. Mandarin orange juice and pith notes here against a base of light biscuit malt, but that is definitely playing second fiddle to the hops. There is good bitterness on the finish. (15-04-2017)
