This month, Real Ale is celebrating 14 years since opening its first shop on Richmond Road, East Twickenham.
Over the 14 years as an independent London retailer, Real Ale has built a strong dedicated customer base, won Retailer of the Year 2015, and expanded over two further shops and taprooms in Maida Vale and Notting Hill.
Real Ale specialises in beers, natural wines, ciders, and interesting spirits from small independent producers from all over the world. All stock is selected by the Real Ale team and is individual to each shop.
To mark the anniversary, Real Ale has teamed up with local Kingston Brewery, Park Brewery, to create collaboration beer available across all three stores throughout May.
The Twickenham shop is hosting the 14th anniversary celebration and launch of the collaboration beer on May 23, from 6pm. Everyone is welcome.
Owner, Nick Dolan, said: “It’s a great achievement to be celebrating our 14 year anniversary — a double bubble year of celebrations as we hit this important milestone and also open our third shop and taproom in Notting Hill.
“The industry has changed so much since I first conceived the idea in 2005. With the growth of natural wines and the broad range of craft spirit producers, there hasn’t been a better time to celebrate those that we help to support and introduce to our customers. This is a very exciting time for the industry and I am truly grateful to our team of passionate staff who have helped us get this far.”
